For 2024, Nissan’s most popular vehicle in the United States market, the Rogue, will receive a minor redesign. However, the outcome does not alter its fundamental qualities as a mainstream compact crossover. The Nissan Rogue SUV’s admirable points include ample technological updates and handsome looks. The lower trims–the S and SV–also offer incredible value for money. Therefore, it is unsurprising that it is the most popular Nissan automobile stateside. To enhance the car’s appeal to prospective buyers, the automaker has introduced many new features on the 2024 iteration.

Infotainment Perks

The 2023 Rogue had a relatively small nine-inch infotainment touchscreen on the premium Platinum trim. For 2024, however, the size of the touchscreen unit has been rectified. To clarify, the top-tier trims–the SL and Platinum–get Google built-in technology. Accessible through the trims’ newly upgraded 12.3-inch touchscreen and integrated into the vehicle, the system will be powered via a 4G LTE modem. In other words, users will not have to pair or connect their smartphones to access the feature. It boasts apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other applications from the Play Store.

Through Google Assistant, consumers can rely on voice commands to send text messages, call, and play music. Moreover, by signing in to the SUV’s infotainment system, customers can access Google information, such as locations on Maps, saved on other browsers or devices. To that end, the vehicle caters to iPhone users through Apple CarPlay, a standard feature on all variants. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available wirelessly on the SL and Platinum versions and accessible via a wired connection on the lower-level trims, which feature eight-inch infotainment units. Of note, the all-new Rogue will feature USB-C charging ports exclusively. Other technological advantages on the upper trims include:

  • Amazon Alexa
  • Sirius XM with 360L, which utilizes streaming and satellites to offer more channels and on-demand content
  • Hybrid Radio, which facilitates access to FM radio stations in areas with limited or no signals

In addition, 2024 Nissan Rogue SV and Platinum consumers will receive a three-year NissanConnect Services trial period. Through the MyNISSAN phone application, users can remotely unlock doors, start and stop their engines, and call for roadside assistance.

The Overall Design

The 2024 Nissan Rogue gets a revised front fascia featuring a new V-motion grille and a slightly reconfigured bumper. Gloss black trim pieces on the front and rear and gloss black fenders line the vehicle’s exterior, marking the Platinum as the top variant. The SV trim also features new 18-inch alloy wheels. Three new colors–Everest White Pearl, Baja Storm, and Deep Ocean Blue Pearl–are available with the upcoming compact crossover. The 2024 Rogue introduces distinctive materials and finishes for the door panels, the center console, the dashboard, and seats.

It is worth noting that Nissan has not yet specified whether it will alter the interior materials offered with each variant. Cloth seating is standard on the S and SV trims, while faux-leather is also an option on the SV. The two upscale trims come with genuine leather. Meanwhile, 2024 Rogue Platinum owners can opt for brown leather upholstery.

The updated Rogue arrives stateside in early 2024, with pricing to be disclosed closer to its on-sale date.
