In July 2024, Nissan presented model year upgrades for the highly favored Rogue. Other than slight trim modifications, the anticipated news centered on the launch of the brawny Rock Creek edition, with the intention of giving the Subaru Forester Wilderness a run for its money. Now, Nissan announced pricing for its best-selling automobile. The 2025 Nissan Rogue boasts an introductory cost of $29,230 MSRP (Plus destination fee), marking a $380 boost over the 2024 model-year lineup.

Granted, no price uptick is embraced by buyers, but this is, at least, a minimal one. It is also merited by all-new standard attributes for particular trims. For example, the Rogue SL and Platinum are now available with the ProPilot Assist 2.1 safety system, allowing drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel given the proper conditions.

2025 Nissan Rogue: Technological Convenience and Powertrain Details

The system depends on a variety of features, including:

  • Cameras
  • High-definition mapping data
  • Sonar

For context, the combination of these high-tech amenities allows the compact SUV to drive autonomously on single-lane freeways. It is worth noting that the 2025 Rogue is only the second Nissan in the United States to make use of this technology. Due to the Rogue’s extensive redesign in the 2024 model year, updates are minor for now.

That said, even though the additions are minimal, they must not be taken as insignificant. The Nissan Maintenance Care program is currently available to 2025 Rogue buyers. This incentive offers customers the option of three complimentary oil changes for the first two years of ownership or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Moreover, all 2025 Nissan Rogue models are propelled by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that accelerates up to 201 horsepower and generates 225 pound-feet of torque. The turbo triple power plant is paired with an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) and delivers power to the front or all four wheels, depending on the configuration.

What to Expect From 2025 Nissan Rogue Trims

All 2025 Rogue trims are well-appointed, with the S getting an eight-inch touchscreen display unit, 17-inch wheels, and Apple CarPlay connectivity as standard. In turn, the SV trim builds on the basic features of the S by integrating dual-zone climate control and 18-inch wheels.

The SL trim adds dual 12.3-inch displays for the digital gauges and central touchscreen, along with leather upholstery. As the culmination of the lineup, Platinum trims epitomize sophistication, with semi-aniline leather seats, a state-of-the-art Bose sound system, a dual panoramic sunroof, and a memory system for the driver’s seat.
